The Holiday Inn Belfast Lends a Helping Hand to Former Landsdowne Customers!

With the summer season bringing a flurry of weddings, christenings and numerous celebrations, many hotels find they have their hands full with bookings! So when a hotel unexpectedly closes down, many people can be left without a venue for their special day.



This is what happened when The Landsdowne Hotel in Belfast went bankrupt just a couple of weeks ago, shocking many people with the sudden closure. In addition to 35 jobs being lost, many Landsdowne customers were left without anywhere to go for events they had booked months in advance. Caroline Lemon, Sales Manager at The Holiday Inn, said “We were very saddened to hear of the Landsdowne Hotel closing and that many people were left without a venue for their event – we wanted to do whatever we could to help to ensure that people still had the opportunity to celebrate their special occasions in style.”



The Holiday Inn, a 4-star establishment, even pledged to work to bring their prices down to make their services affordable to those who had events booked with the Landsdowne, which was a 3-star hotel.

Landsdowne customers who then went on to book with The Holiday Inn are now able to take advantage of the hotel’s variety of superior services and facilities, including a number of available stylish function rooms for any occasion! The hotel also boasts a city centre location, “The Junction Restaurant”, a modern restaurant with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and a 24-hour Lounge and bar equipped with Wi-Fi, Sky Sports and light snacks, meals and drinks.
