YOUR WHATS ON GUIDE TO NORTHERN IRELAND

In the wake of the commercial disappointment of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Michael Cera is going to leave comedy behind for at least one movie and try his hand at something new: a dramatic role in a thriller.
Variety reports that Cera will star in the indie film Magic, Magic for writer-director Sebastian Silva. Mike White and Christine Vachom will produce.

The trade says Magic, Magic "revolves around a girl vacationing with her friends in a remote area of Chile who slowly starts losing her mental faculties. She tries to get her friends' attention, but they ignore her until it's too late."

A start date won't be set until the female lead is cast.
